The PlayStation 5 debuted with a new IP worthy of the platform’s power and hype:
GODFALL. To give this next-gen entry a grand entrance onto the world stage. Gearbox turned to us to build up a brand strategy and platform that could carry the prestige of the game’s Exalted Knights to launch – and well into the future.

Godfall wanted its own throne in the looter genre. Blending high fantasy, swords and sorcery, it arrived as a new kind of looter-slasher hybrid. Our campaign needed to measure up to the promise of next-gen gaming – and prove Godfall as a gorgeous game to play and behold.

ASCEND served as an internal north star, a single word that always pointed creative toward showing off the rise to godhood via a loot-packed, next-gen power fantasy. Beyond its internal usage, ASCEND manifested throughout the game’s life, from press releases to social media. Even the game’s highest-tier edition was deemed
