CHALLENGE:

CREATE A STANDOUT, MASS-APPEAL SPOT THAT HITS THE PLAYER EXPERIENCE.

WINNING THE FIGHT WITH AUTHENTICITY

 

Hitting the trifecta began with timing: we planned our TV spot to air alongside TWD’s final season premiere, positioning ourselves as a natural next step for fans to explore even after the show’s finale. This led to a creative concept that put real-world players right in the middle of the post-apocalyptic world of TWD. From there, our spot drove home the key player promise: the freedom to create and play out their own TWD stories.

We worked hand-in-hand with Skybound to cast and outfit every performer – Walkers included.

A DEFT TOUCH AVOIDS TRAPS

Our concept stood out from the pack of related titles and side-stepped IP pitfalls by featuring original characters in a familiar world.

STRONG VFX HIT HARDER

The 3-day live shoot was fortified by heavy Post-Production; we cloned extra walkers, extended our sets, and pumped in effects that were able to keep us in budget while looking premium.
